IMPORTANT NOTICE: Beginning with D3F's 2027 Call for Entries, June 21, 2026, D3F will NOT accept or consider films, animated or live-action, that utilize AI (artificial intelligence) generative design technologies, images, video, audio, dialogue, or special effects in any way during the development process or presented in the finished film. This includes using AI Generation to enhance or alter images, video, or audio. Current VFX and CGI technologies are acceptable. Any film created in whole or in part using generative AI will be rejected outright, and any submission fees paid by the filmmaker WILL NOT be refunded.
